Each of Hamburg's seven district authorities houses a centre for business development, construction and the environment, which looks after the interests of local businesses. The experts on-site can assist companies when it comes to expanding, setting up business or relocating as well as searching for suitable plots of land and commercial real estate within the district.
Here you can get advice on founding, locational and financing matters and get referred to external points of contact as needed. The district authorities will also advocate for the interests of the local business community in the administrative bodies of the relevant district, e.g. with regard to approval procedures or optimising the use of commercial space
