MIPIM

The world's leading property fair brings together influential players from all international property sectors: Office, residential, retail, healthcare, sports, logistics and industrial property. It offers unrivalled access to the largest construction projects and sources of capital worldwide.

Location

The location of the Hamburg pavilion in "Riviera 8" has proved its worth thanks to its central position in the centre of the visitor flow. It is in the immediate vicinity of many interesting partners, such as the stands of North Rhine-Westphalia, Luxembourg and the German Pavilion for Cities & Regions. The attractive outdoor areas with sea views offer a spectacular panorama overlooking the marina.

Dear visitors,

Welcome to MIPIM 2025 – the meeting place for the international real estate industry. Against the fascinating backdrop of Cannes, this is where investors, planners and urban developers get together to discuss the topical issues of our times and to jointly create the future of building construction.

This year’s event will be dedicated to the sustainable transformation of our built environment. In view of global challenges such as climate change, urbanisation and economic uncertainties, forward-looking solutions are more vital than ever.

Focal areas here include sustainable construction and thermo-modernisation in particular. In this context, the careful use of existing building structures has become ever more relevant as it helps save resources while at the same time meeting today’s requirements for climate protection and energy efficiency. What is more, cities are facing the challenge of adapting to the effects of climate change – such as heat, drought and heavy rainfall. The development of resilient blue-green infrastructure plays a crucial role in ensuring quality of life in urban areas in the long run.

The economic environment is undergoing changes too: rising interest rates and new financing models require us to rethink in the areas of investment and project development. Technological innovations – above all artificial intelligence and digitisation – are opening up new opportunities for the industry to increase efficiency of processes and promote the advance of sustainable solutions.

Affordable housing continues to be a topical issue, and many panels and talks at MIPIM are thus dedicated to this topic. As one of the most attractive real estate locations in Germany, Hamburg has been leading the way here. With our new Hamburg standard, we are showing ways to design new residential buildings in a way that is more economical, sustainable and viable. After all, affordable housing can still be facilitated if we scrutinise existing processes, have the courage to streamline systematically, and collaborate as partners. The Hamburg standard demonstrates which technical standards can be reduced in a legally compliant manner without compromising quality – and how costs can be saved by optimising in the areas of planning, implementation and permission.

We will be glad to meet you on-site. Visit us at the Hamburg stand and discover Hamburg’s pioneering urban development areas as well as our range of investment opportunities in one of Europe’s most dynamic real estate markets.

We look forward to talking to you!
