Centre of industry

Hamburg's industry sector is closely linked to the maritime economy, starting with the import and processing of raw materials. Companies such as Aurubis, Montblanc and Steinway pianos are setting global standards. Airbus and others are leaders in the aviation industry, while NXP Semiconductors dominate the semiconductor manufacturing market.
