Mario Leupold, Managing Director of WLG, remarked: "The business awards make the location visible and tangible." The LÜNALE have honoured regional economic sectors since 2009. The Lüneburg Impuls Award of EUR 3,000 honours start-ups depending on the degree of innovation and the success of their business model. Students, graduates and employees of the Leuphana University of Lüneburg can apply for the Leuphana Start-up Idea of the Year with a business idea in the commercial, freelance or social sector. The prize comes with EUR 3,000 in cash. This year's Crafts Award will be presented under the theme of "Design - Best Product Design". The Lüneburg SME Award honours successful, owner-managed companies and their commitment to society.
Deadline for applications ends on July 31, 2024
The Business Development Agency for the City and District of Lüneburg (WLG) is accepting applications for the LÜNALE Awards until the deadline of July 31, 2024. The search is now on for innovative business ideas and outstanding entrepreneurial achievements in the Hamburg Metropolitan Region. Companies and founders can apply for four business awards namely the Leuphana Start-up Idea of the Year, Lüneburg Start-up Award Impuls, Crafts Award and the Lüneburg SME Award

The Sparkasse Lüneburg, Volksbank Lüneburger Heide, the Rainer Adank Foundation, the Braunschweig-Lüneburg-Stade Chamber of Crafts and the Lüneburg Economic Forum all lend their support to the awards. "The great commitment of the long-standing prize donors and sponsors is extraordinary," said Leupold. The awards will be presented on November 8, 2024 in the Castanea Forum in Adendorf.
