Female Entrepreneurship Week 2022 to boost women founders

HAW Hamburg, Startup Port and beyourpilot launch event week (November 14-19)

The Female Entrepreneurship Week 2022 gets underway Monday (November 14, 2022) under the theme of "Inspire. Empower. Connect.". Organised by the start-up service at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW) and the beyourpilot and Startup Port networks, the event week targets women and start-ups interested in founding a company. Delegates can take part online or attend events in person. The event is also aimed at students and members of universities in the Hamburg Metropolitan Region.

Workshops, keynotes and founders' stories

The opening "Week up!" event at 5 pm on November 14 will be followed by impulse presentations from successful female founders, information on funding opportunities and networking. Female founders will highlight existing means of support during the beyourpilot lunch at 12 pm on November 15.  More information about the Exist Startup Scholarship will be presented at 5.45 pm on November 16. A special event on November 17 will highlight sexism in professional everyday life. Argumentation training at 4 pm should highlight powerful means of countering such situations.

 

Interactive, international "Women's Entrepreneurship Day"

Escape games will give delegates an opportunity to delve playfully into the day of a female entrepreneur from 5 pm on November 15. Women's Entrepreneurship Yoga starts at 1 pm on November 17 and is a mix of information and a fun yoga session. The closing event is Women's Entrepreneurship Day on November 19 and will unfold mainly on the organizers' social media channels. More information can be on found on HAW's website.
