Under the new regulation, boats and ships without a licence to operate on the lake will only be allowed to use electric propulsion from January 1, 2025. Vehicles licenced before then have a transitional period until 2030. A funding scheme to the amount of EUR 1.26 million has been set up for the conversion and acquisition of new watercraft owned by registered clubs until late 2025.
