Hopes are now high that the greening will lead to even more projects. Owners and tenants and all those involved in planning the greening are eligible to enter. The greened area must be at least 12 square metres in size, at least six months old and no more than ten years old. The greened building must be located in Hamburg or in a neighbouring suburb e.g., Pinneberg, Segeberg, Stormarn, Herzogtum Lauenburg, Harburg, Stade or Cuxhaven.
